As global property and construction consultants, Gleeds wish to serve their global audience with country specific domains in multiple languages across responsive sites, accessible from all devices.
By taking a combined customer experience (CX) and user experience (UX) design approach to this project, customer journeys could be mapped to accompany our strategic ux design approach.
By researching the customer journeys across multiple countries, we established that the requirements of customer in each global location differed. To achieve distinction away from just having one global site, separate country sub-domains were established in native languages. This approach was adopted to accommodate the desire for unique content to be hosted across each of the country sites.
One of the dilemmas for Gleeds stakeholders before the project commenced was the difficulty in accessing and downloading information from the website using their devices. This has now been overcome with a fresh website which looks as impressive on mobile as it does across a desktop.
With Gleeds now providing country domains for their consumers, the customer journey has now been streamlined and tailored by country, resulting in improved response times and productivity in each location.
